Third Ascension (6 Points):
Obtained From: Random Monster Drop
Djinn Barya: Area Level 60+ Trials: 3
Inscribed Ultimatum: Area Level 75+ Number of Trials: 10

Fourth Ascension (8 Points):
Obtained From: Random Monster Drop
Djinn Barya: Area Level 75+ Trials: 4, Defeat final boss
Inscribed Ultimatum: Defeat the Trialmaster (final boss)

Thanks for the info on this one. Based on it, it is possible to make an assumption that quest might actually progress when visiting Traitors Passage and killing Djinn on level 60+ character. I just did it twice on level 55 and same problem as everyone else in this thread - will check it again once I hit 60.


And when thinking about it - this actually makes sense in the context that we do not have the full campaign on EA. So we have only 3 Acts and then we jump into redoing those 3 Acts on Cruel. As we will have 6 Acts on release - I assume we will be exactly 60+ on release once we complete 6 Acts on Normal difficulty and will move into another 6 Acts of Cruel difficulty, which will get us to around level 80-90 or maybe even 95-100 once we complete it and transition to endgame on full release version.


Upd:

Upon reaching 60 and traveling to fresh Traitors Passage, and killing Djinn - being level 60 did not change anything and the Djinn did not drop any trial token. So it seems the only way to progress is to rely on random monster drop past character level 60.

Quest did not progress either with level 60 character, so it is indeed bugged.

I have the same bug, ran a level 66 Barya token with 3 trials and finished it, but the ascendency wall clickable was not there. Do you have to progress through the next Test and another Test set after the initial 7-8 rooms to get the Ascendency points? That would be 3 boss runs on the same Barya token?
