t4 xesh spams too much
" there's also builds that can just facetank everything :D . I kill him on both super tanky or big dps build but i agree that he should not be abble to spam all his abilities at once ^^ |

" If you know of any videos where builds are able to facetank the onslaught from T4 Xesht, I would be interested in seeing that. 最後に SpankyKong#9805 が 2025/06/12 11:14:00 に編集

Spam attacks begin in the second phase, and this is really nonsense. Whoever implemented cseshta on t4 doesn't really understand game design at all. What kind of "vision" do addicts want to see with such broken bosses?

I'm consistently doing it with middling DPS and probably below average defense. All it takes is +36% effective MS and +1.2 to dodge roll, so I can press space and offscreen the entire circus, just dealing with the hands. Also he's kinda dumb, so if you pull him to one side and pelt him from the corner of one of the ramps he'll miss a lot of his skills. If you're ranged, there should be a way for you to do it just by exploiting the mechanics. That being said, as with everything else in PoE ever, if you're melee I can't even imagine the hoops you'd need to jump through, when he starts fisting.

" look for whirling smith, lich can do it to i'm sure there's others. I could kill xech 4 afk if some of is atk don't push you a lil (and i would be out of range :D) But on weaker build when i have to actually avoid the mechanics i agree with op. 最後に BigBeuss#5956 が 2025/06/12 12:35:58 に編集

" I agree with you, but the video is showing the 0.2.0g :) Now in the 0.2.1, second phase has changed things |

I do agree. The Xesh buff that have been done in the last patch update (0.2.1) got Xesh as reluctant spam machine.
I play level 95 lich with DoT mechanic + Totem. Before the patch, I was able to defeat him in a slight fight, demanding but mainly fair, in about 20 minutes. Now It is 35 minutes with a 10K energy shield, boosted with an utter recharge ES rate + an utter recharge ES delay. Be an attributes and ES stacker, be a winner, so I did it ! (10 times). Before it was a pleasant and a rewarding fight. And Now my sense ? injust and unrewarding fight, in fact uninterresting. I am done with it. I got all my atlas point and bye Xesh What is remaning for me ? Obsessive "SPAM" mechanics for boss redesign are the worse choice ever. It betray a hurry no brain implementation. I do agree with Jonathan when he said in his last interview that Xesh need to be demanding. In my opnion demanding boss mechanics should inspire players for upleveling their fight technics, build and skill gem arrangement. And all the most rewarding them to have mastered that. Before get in the arena I was an ignorant player.... when I get out the arena, I have grow up. But stupid SPAM mechanisms disallow that by design. Because for countering that I need to stupidly stack in utter way counter mesures (ES, attributes and others escalation mechanisms) How would it be if "SPAM" mecanism was ejected and replaced with a new demanding fair third phase? That is my proposal. That my way of challenges. I heard Jonathan say playing other games for the "science" and understanding other implemented mechanims for comparing them with PoE2. Coffee mug in hand, demonstration was a masterclass. :) (In definitive, I love coffee :p) So my proposal : Hey Jonathan ! :) get out the controler and have a look on Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice for the "science" and Xesh comeback in a version that a pinacle boss deserve. 最後に Hexmxm#0804 が 2025/06/12 16:15:36 に編集

" You probably wanted to reply to me, but you got the wrong recipient. :) In the current patch, I didn't notice any difference in combat compared to 0.2.0g, except for the quality of the dropped items. I consider the fight insignificant, even if the omen of rebirth did not work. Just yesterday I recorded a video for my friends to show the quality of the dropped items for 3 battles with this boss. I suggest you get acquainted with one of these fights. https://youtu.be/rw8cl4LH71Y ==Translated by an online translator== |
