If it got away from them, who knows. But if it got delayed to this week, maybe they decided to bundle it with the live event. "This is mostly news about PoE1, but right after the livestream ends, you'll be able to play 0.2.1 on PoE2."

I was thinking the same thing. What amazing update were you expecting in 0.2.1? Just go play the game now. Not like they removed access while they wait to apply the next update.
