40% temporal chains. Who is making these decisions?

Seriously, who actually thought this was a good idea and how did it get approved? It's decisions like this that made me lose all hope for this game.

Even if this wasn't tested at all, and I don't see how it could have been and put in the patch, it shouldn't have even been an idea being floated around. "Hey let's take the most annoying curse that players already hate and make it 2x worse. We'll have to look at the data to see if this bad idea should be taken out of the next patch".

It really boggles the mind

Temporal chains is utterly miserable gameplay experience and one can only come to the conclusion that GGG hates its player-base to keep this dreck in the game.
Just sell those waystones. Their data analytics will pick it up if enough people don't even run the mods.

Kind of missed the point. Shouldn't need data analytics or even any testing to understand 40% is beyond ridiculous

Probably the same person who thought it was a good idea that delirium mobs despawn instead of die, when so many effects in the game rely on monster death and corpses. Lmao.
To me it feels as if the formula is off even. The character is so slow that the speed feels more like 40-60% of base movement speed.

Every time we expect some new patch, there is also dissapointment of something else they bring.

I dont understand why is so dificult to set balance between classes/weapons/skills!

I think you are right. I just ran a map and was hit with 40% temp chains. The movement speed feels like its, like you said, at least 60-70%. Its really bad.
Im assuming this was due to adding the new movement socket.

Becareful what you wish for they say.


I think the 40% was added to quickly since players havnt had a chance to find the new speed rune or upgrade the boots.


I dont like it but i understand the mechanic and why its needed.


e.g. your upgrading and are tempted to add 1 more mechanic as a gamble juice.
You have to have a downside to upgrading otherwise just give players already made waystones with pre built mechanics.

But adding 5% should have only increased the chains by 10%, 20% is too high.


But this data will be collected and analysed, part of the goal will also be to have waystones sold or deleted sort of self cleaning game items.


Agree or disagree doesnt really matter.


This is also used to train players to play a certain way, keep moving to avoid damage etc etc.

No player will use such tickets. Its existence and meaninglessness
