Rite of passage - Complaint. The biggest disappointment in POE 2

1. Build idea.

So i wanted to do a nice build using Rite of passage 3x Stacking charm build.

Wolf:
Maim 50%
Skill speed 30%
Movement speed 15%
Break armor 10%

Stag:
Ele res 30%
Skill speed 30%
Movement speed 15%
Gain light dmg 20%

Cat:
Evasion 60%
Crit chance 100%
Skill speed 30%
Movement speed 15%


All 3 stacked would be:
Skill speed 90%
Movement speed 45%
Maim 50%
Break armor 10%
Ele res 30%
Light dmg 20%
Evasion 60%
Crit chance 100%

But there are few problems with that....

2. Possession

The "rite of passage golden charm" stats state:


1. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Bear for 10-20 second on use."
2. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Boar for 10-20 second on use."
3. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Ox for 10-20 second on use."
4. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Cat for 10-20 second on use."
5. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Stag for 10-20 second on use."
6. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Wolf for 10-20 second on use."
7. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Owl for 10-20 second on use."
8. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Primate for 10-20 second on use."
9. "Possessed by Spirit Of the Serpent for 10-20 second on use."

Spirits name.
1. Bear
2. Boar
3. Ox
4. Cat
5. Stag
6. Wolf
7. Owl
8. Primate
9. Serpent

It do not state "possessed by Azmeri spirit"

This imply that you are suppose to be possessed by 9 different spirits.

3 of 9 Spirit Combination of your choice!

But when the charm is used it state "You are hunted by Azmeri Spirit." (image 2)

What you should be possessed is by the adequate spirit of the charm. So either possessed by Wolf, cat etc.

3. Stacking

So while you are possessed by Correct corresponding spirit. You would be able to stack them.

The charm is misguiding and wrong! i build the idea of super fun build to run. to hit a wall and being able to be possessed by not Spirit of Wolf, Cat and Stag. Buy to be possesses by "Azmerian spirit"

What i expect is the charm to work totally different. It is to Stack the possessions.
As it cleary says " posses by xxx spirit"

4. Duration

Then come the next disappointment.....

Nothing affect duration of the charm. Nothing affect the buff from the charm.

I have nice megalomaniac - but thats no the point. The skills on it dont affect the charm at all.
I also have a belt 26% charm duration.

So if applying the effect of the nodes to the duration would take effect
It wold be like:
20 seconds basic
20+ 26% from the belt = 25,2 Second
20+ 26% from the belt + 40% from the skill duration 35,28 Second duration of possession.

The "charms applied to you have 25% increased effect" also dont affect the possession.


All 3 stacked would be:
Before // after
Skill speed 90% // Would be 112,5
Movement speed 45% // Would be 56,25
Maim 50% // Would be 62,5
Break armor 10% // would be 12,5
Ele res 30% // would be 37,5
Light dmg 20% // Wold be 25
Evasion 60% // would be 75
Crit chance 100% // would be 125

5. Expectations:

For each corresponding spirit, to be possesed by the correesponing spirit, and not the "azmeri spirit".

4. Cat
5. Stag
6. Wolf
7. Owl

Really cool build idea. I’ve been saving up for some. Does this mean they don’t stack and you can only use one at a time? Also, do you at least get the correct buffs for the one that is active?

Yes. Only 1 at the time.

Harder to check as it only stats that you are possesed you need to check your corresponding stats (etc. res / crit etc) that show that the spirit is active corresponding to it. But i assume that is ok.

If you divine orb a charm can the spirit change like the Vorana Jewel?
Divine only changes possession length not spirit. Still a bis item and I dropped my stun charm and went unwavering just to use this with a legacy ingenuity. It's like a 20 sec onslaught buff with the spirits that grant ms
They do stack, just have to be different spirits. I run, stag, owl and boar, each increase movement speed, skill speed, and each adds 20% to a elemental damage (boar is fire, owl is cold and stag is electric.

When I kill a rare my dps panel sky rockets and I have summoned 2 out of three spirits at the same time. I run a trinity build thus the need to try and keep my elemental damage in relative sync. Unfortunately I can't use a head hunter belt as I need to use ingenuity (old school) to max my resistances.
