Suggestion for Halani Gates are closed in act 2
Having to always go to Halani gates via the desert map (after trying to use the waystone!), exit the caravan, run to the end and "They're closed!" is a little tedious.
Perhaps this could be altered so that as part of this quest the Sekhema just says something like "We sent our scouts out and the Halani Gates are closed". 最後に Ferdelizer#3373 が 2025/06/10 18:15:52 に編集 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/06/14 2:18:37

They should add a small chance to break the gates (and thus skip all related quests). Would be cool ))

The whole second act felt like someone had an idea and never followed through with it. I could have sworn that during interviews while the game was still alpha they mentioned that act 2 was going to really open up the game. That you were gonna be on this super cool caravan that would have two possible routes and you'd choose one, locking you out of the other option. This would create replay ability because you'd get to play the other route next character... Than we ended up with a caravan that serves zero purpose and an act where the most decision you make the entire time is which of 3 mandatory locations you go to first. Which is also sorta predetermined by the fact that you need to go to 2 of them to get parts for Titan location perma-upgrade. Like, the caravan could literally be replaced with auto opening waypoints and the player would lose literally zero gameplay other than the extra clicks it takes to both move the caravan and than leave it.
Like I think the campaign is better than one in nearly every way, but they harped over and over on how it was going to have all the things we liked about endgame so we wouldn't feel the need to rush to end game. Even specifically calling out variety of gameplay as one of those things... than they delivered literally none of that aspect. TLDR: I like to rant and anything that adds variety to act 2 I am in favor of. |
