Firewall and Eye of Winter and Fireball

So when you use Firewall to boost Fireball's damage, it boost the damage of the fireball AND all of the fireballs it creates after hitting something.

But, and I've tested this extensively. If you use Firewall with Eye of Winter, the Main Orb gets a fiery effect, and so would any needle that goes through the firewall, but needles created by a fiery Orb don't really get fiery and that's weird. Also because I could swear that this used to work in 0.1.0? But I could have hallucinated it.
