can we change the color of player created fire particles to purple?
+1. Circle of friendly fire are annoying and dangerous most times. If i add the ton of minions, then there is no space to notice anything in game.

I can get behind this idea - I agree that non-damaging effects should be completely distinguishable from player-damaging effects, especially in the case of overlapping/similar effects like the fire in your picture.
It kind of reminds me of the first Trial of Sekhema boss, where when you kill it, it glows bright orange and explodes - it's very similar to the corpse explosion effect that you see while playing the game that can very easily kill you. I treated that boss's death like a bomb that might kill me the first few times I beat him because I wasn't going to risk losing my run just to see if it would hurt or not. As cool as that animation is - it's a bit misleading because it looks like something that is going to kill you if you stand too close lol. |
