Powerful Precision ascendant passive

Hi,

For my ranger I have chosen the ascendant passive called Powerful Precision. It says: "Projectiles have 100% increased Critical Strike Chance against Targets they Pierce" and "projectiles Pierce all nearby Targets". My question is: does that mean that I have 100% critical strike chance all the time? Until now I have been using gems like Precision, Increased Critical Strikes Support and Summon Ice golem. Do I still need them?

Not really. From what I know if your bow has let's say 7% crit chance then "100% increased" would put it at 14% (double what you had) but nowhere near "always crit" status.
