Toxic rain + sniper`s mark, How it works?

I got an amulet with whispers of doom, my build use asenaths chant so i already have the despair curse ongoing but i want to know if chganging for example soulrend and put instead sniper´s mark will increase the dps, my hope is than mainly in bosses snipers mark will make the arrows from toxic rain to split making more pods, is than posible?

You can check it, but from my knowledge toxic rain projectiles cannot fork, split, chain, pierce or arrow nova because they fly vertically and not horizontally. Blast rain and rain of arrows also share this property.
