PC - PoE2 0.1.0 - Options > Notification Buttons for 3 'Achievement's behaving oddly
PC - PoE2 0.1.0
Not sure if this is to somehow prevent data-mining, since it maybe relates to Achievements? So posting here just in case. The issue: In Options > Notification, trying to save, its like I cannot select and then hit 'Save" for Achievement Complete, Achievement Item Complete, and Tracked Achievement Item Failed. What happened? Opened game for the first time. Turned up a bunch of settings on other tabs. Get to Notifications Tab. Attempted to turn on all notifications, start clicking going down, everything on. When you get to the second last, 'League Events', selecting it will de-select 'Achievement Complete', 'Achievement Item Complete', and 'Tracked Achievement Item Failed'. Then click Reward Notifications, select the three which were de-selected, everything is now selected. Then deselect 'Reward Notification', and it will deselect those three again. 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/09/25 21:34:23

It is not entirely clear why all notifications are turned off by default. Many players may find themselves in a situation where they receive group invitations and trade requests, but they do not see it, because in poe 1 all notifications are turned on by default. my hideouts - https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3228515

I have the same behaviour for the notification option controls.
As a minor addendum to @Friend_Of_Mine#3780's post, it would appear that clicking on just about any other notification option (or at least many of them) will disable the three Achievement notification options. This occurs when enabling or disabling another option and includes the second and third achievement option. As noted above, saving option changes will likewise reset the Achievement notification options to disabled. | |
9 months later and I, for one, am still experiencing the very same issue, exactly as it was described in this post...
Does anyone know if the devs are at least aware of this bug? I'm also interested to know if this is a universal issue or not.. is there anyone out there who is actually able to successfully turn on all of the notification popups in the settings menu (I believe there are 29 of them)? I.E. If there is anyone who can put a check beside ALL of the options in the notifications tab of the settings menu, click save, completely close the settings menu, then reopen it to show all of those options still on with a checkmark beside each one, I would love to hear about it. |
