PoE 2 New patch won't update 0.1e

I get an error message "could not overwrite executable. Please make sure that PoE.exe/.tmp are not still running. You may need to reboot"
Rebooted, didn't work. Used task manager to end the mentioned task, the task its trying to end is the updater. So I have to close the updater to update? Tried reinstalling, same problem. found solution
Go to your PoE 2 folder Should be 2 folders PathOfExile.exe PathOfExile.tmp Delete .tmp file Rename the Pathofexile.exe file to something like pathofexilela.exe Run pathofexilela.exe will create a new pathofexile.exe file and patch (i noticed download was bigger than original file 700+ mb) After it patch close delete pathofexilela.exe Run with new exe file and have fun 最後に maderi#3644 が 2024/12/18 5:33:54 に編集

I had this problem .. if it helps anyone (that doesn't want to rename/delete anything), I updated PoE (was missing latest patch) and then I was able to update and open PoE2.
