ReShade triggering anti-cheat

So - I used ReShade when the early access first launched. I redownloaded the game after this latest update and still had reshade installed. Except this time I received a message pop up after login saying "You have been detected running cheating software"

Very confused I force closed the game, uninstalled ReShade (it's the only thing I had installed in the game files), and I now do not get this message.

I emailed support, but is EAC falsely flagging this as cheating software? ReShade makes the game visually more vigrant and helps remove the washed-out effect.
