I'd leave them in but cut their duration to 25% and the time inbetween each volatile raised to 300%

When these things appear on a monster that also has proximal tangibility it is one of the most awful experiences you can have in game. Add some mana siphon to the mix for extra fun

Yes. You don't get to play the game while trying to avoid them and when you do trigger them early, it just spawns more immediately so you spend most of your time avoiding them.. This patch made it even worse when you need to spend that time actually killing the monsters and not running.

Yes volatile plants suck ass and are poorly designed. Nurf them straight out of the game or FIX THEM.
