Can't upgrade skill gems while waring vertex Tribal mask even if conditions would be met.

If you wear the Vertex tribal mask you can not upgrade equipped skill gems. I currently have 130dex and want to upgrade Explosive spear to lvl 15 (146dex requirement, 73 with vertex tribal mask). You get the message that you do not met the requirements. But unequipping the skill gem would allow you to engrave an uncut gem without that error message. Even tough it marks the dex requirment as red.

I can upgrade the gem if I met the initial requirements before applying the the masks buff, but its rather annoying to either get the original dex requirements via gear or respeccing the tree just to upgrade your gems.

Do you have any update regarding the problem I am having the same problem and its very annoying everytime transfering gem to another character for upgrading.
