Makes you realize just how much PoE is being held back by lack of the simplest qol like an auto-sort inventory button, among other things. And The Vision ofc.
Its good to know there are still devs out there making games for the players, for the community. Games that are meant to be fun, not the non-stop punishment cbt that is PoE 2 lmao |

Maybe they moved your post because they believe it has more chances of being addressed on PoE2 rather than PoE1 which is very set in its ways.
That said, it's hard to disagree with you. Playing PoE2 this season has been a frustrating grind. At level 86, I'm still struggling with gear, resources, respecs are extremely expensive, etc. I very much like what they're doing, the enormous amount of conmbinations and having a pletora of skills, some of which situational. The depth of customization in PoE2 is unparalled, and I love it. But PoE simply doesn't seem to care about your time, or repetitive tasks. Some things actually seem to be making fun of you. For instance, if you want to be ready for strongboxes, you need to waste a few inventory slots with the likes of an Orb of Alchemy, Scroll of Wisdom, etc. Your inventory space is small - you're driven to portal out to town to sell. Last Epoch actively counters this time-wasting playstyle: portal out, you reset. This means you focus on playing, rather than focusing on resources. Right now, PoE2 is in a class of its own, with a set of legacy and clunky bits that add neither fun nor challenge, and people who play do it PoE in spite of these time wasters and the frustration they provide, not because of them. |

" Because your thread is more about feedback then actually discussing something. So it makes sense it got moved. That said, I agree with your post. PoE1 and 2 are too much of a grind, especially 2. An ARPG, mostly played singleplayer, being designed around trade never made any sense to me. The loot table and gear/skill progression should always be designed around SSF, while trade should just be an optional way to obtain things. But right now, trade is the way to go if you want to try out a certain build or if you search for a piece of equipment with the right stats, since the crafting system is as random as loot itself. |
