Please make portals count as checkpoints... (and a movement speed rant)

Basically the tittle.

I just ran Ravine map that had literally 0 checkpoints and after my third death I just rage quit the game because no fucking way am I going to run through the entire map again with no monsters in it... I'm still spamming portals out of habbit from POE1 and I just wonder why can't we spawn on portal after death?

I love poe2 and I think I enjoy it even more than poe1 but for the love of god either make the maps smaller or give us more base movement speed!!! Even in fully juiced maps with ton on monsters and other content I feel like I'm dying out of boredom while I'm traversing said content through the maps... People say that rarity is a must have stat but honestly I think every build will feel bad forever after playing an Amazon with all the ms nodes specced from the tree.
