"Failed to connect to instance" when joining someone's hideout

I get "Failed to connect to instance" when joining someone's hideout when they are located somewhere in Asia or Russia. I am NA.

Tried restarting the game, pc, and even reinstalled, yet this issue still persists.

I would like to know if there is a fix on my end for this, because this has made trading a horrid experience for me.
