Here is how to make PoE 2 better.
I started this league i am on my second character atm and i want to give my feedback as a player on what needs improvement. I'll separate this into multiple sections.
Atlas: This is the big one really, the Atlas system is terrible especially when you compare it to PoE 1. -Citadels, We have a bit more visual clarity on citadels but that doesn't fix the problem that the system itself towards finding citadels and going through map after map is bad and even tedious. Since the Arbiter is also intrinsically tied with getting your last point towards map bosses on your Atlas passives, why not make it so that each and every Boss at t15+ maps has a chance to open a portal to a random citadel map with random mods on it ala Zana after you kill him. That chance could be further buffed with Precursor tablets and it makes Boss tablets much more relevant than what they currently are. Would be a huge improvement to the system. -Atlas passives, Again in direct comparison with PoE 1 this tree is lackluster but it has one benefit, you can branch into multiple map enchantment mechanics at once ( deli, breach, expedition, etc. ) while also having a solid base. Problem is currently this base sucks. It just does. The base mechanics of these 40 passives are very concise in what you need to pull off. So bigger tree and more meaningful nodes. Specifically make the +1 map tier level nodes more meaningful so that t16 maps become more accessible if you spec towards em. -Base level of maps: Lvl 82 on maps should be more accessible, currently you need many things to overlap for it to occur which is irradation/boss and +1 level on a corrupted or cleansed node. Level can be capped at 82 but the base level should be raised by 1 so that just irradiated t16s do the trick. That's just a bad mechanic that punishes you for being unlucky, off to the next corrupted cluster... Let's stop that. It's just annoying. ----------------------------------------------------------- Crafting: Just one section, currently it doesn't exist. It's just intense gambling and i've made a thread on this. The difference between hitting and not hitting is immense to the point that having many uniques on your build which are more deterministic if you know how to utilize em is a huge boon compared to the mirror's usually worth of items that have good rolls because they need the stars to allign. And the reason is because there is certain mods that you need to have otherwise the item is screwed. Example, everyone NEEEEEDS 35% ms on boots. That's not negotiable, every boot that doesn't have that is not even considered useful. There is nothing to make up for it like blinks and dodge rolls and that's fine, but it has created this market where if you don't have this stat as an example it's just not even passing through someone's filter. So yeah crafting bench, menagerie ( Einhar is a bro, instead we get an Assmeri hippie with a couple talismans ) , Delve BRING BACK DELVE. ------------------------------------------------------------- More unique maps: I'd love there to be more unique maps perhaps one tied intrinsically to each map mechanic like a strongbox only map or a unique map with a lot of breach hands or one with only essences. There can be way better uniques than what we currently have available. ------------------------------------------------------------- Trial of the Sekhemas: Currently it's riddled with bugs and the caches at the end that aren't time-lost, spectral, royal and arcanist ( other than small relic bronze/silver ones ), they just aren't relevant, and arcanist the vast majority is a huge miss with only transmutes and augments... Also bronze hoarder caches give more gold than silver and gold ones which is stupid. Prime Gold gear and Silver caches are a complete joke that give the exact same gear you would get from bronze ones. To the point you never EVER consider em unless you have a spare which you are like ill just open it for fun lol. Also the 4 slot relics are completely useless in their current itteration, they need a better type of stat for them to be considered over the small ones and the medium ones. Currently small ones dominate due to relic quantity ( which you have to hit 156% to be able to get Zarokh to drop 3 uniques guaranteed with enchanted urn ) and medium ones are a close second due to boss kill speed and honor resistance for people that do run carries or clear zarokh first time for ascension and need help. The 4 slots are never in cause in their current itteration they just don't offer something relevant for the space they take. ------------------------------------------------------------- Trial of Chaos: I like ultimatum a lot, it's very comfy. My main problem is that after you kill Trialmaster you are forced to portal back to Ziggurat, and from there you dont have a waypoint there so you have to go to drowned city and grab the waypoint from there back to your hideout... ANNOYING. Please some QoL on this STAT. Also for some reason Deadly Fate drops way less than the other 2 ( and it's evidenced by the market as it's currently sitting tight at 4 chaos orbs while the other 2 are at like 5-7 ex each ). -------------------------------------------------------------- These are currently my main gripes and suggestions. I implore other people to also give their takes on their own experience. Oh yeah and before i forget..... Its between that and Drowned City they are both there but you have to instance to another area, why doesnt it just have a portal to the start of ToC like Sekhemas has so you can go again ?

+1, except for Chaos. If you're gonna require the 3 pieces at least let me choose who the final boss is.
