New PvP Event Idea - Vastiri Arena

I would like to propose to GGG to add a new PvP event to PoE2, thus offering a different activity beyond the campaign. When you enter the Ardura Caravan town in Act 2, there is an "Arena Patron" NPC, and to become an arena combatant, you must speak to him once you reach level 20. After speaking to him, a new location on the map "Vastiri Arena" will be available.

Vastiri Arena would be located in the harsh desert of Act 2. When you enter the red sands of the arena, this is where players across Wraeclast fight to the death for fame and glory. This would have an associated leaderboard that resets every new league. The arena would pit you against other characters of similar level and rankings as listed below.
