Trial of sekhames did not score

I have completed the Trial Chaos section twice and the Sekhemas section once in the game and I have a total of 6 points. In order to get 2 more points, I killed the 3rd boss of the Trial of Sekhemas section 5 times using the appropriate djin barya, but I cannot get any points. "In djin barya, it says you can earn subclass points and the trial number is 4." Please help.

If you have 6 points, you cannot get more points from the third floor boss.

The Altar of Ascendancy is interactable on the third floor so you can change your Ascendancy, if you want to. Changing your Ascendancy requires clearing a Trial that would grant as many points as you currently have.

In order to reach 8 points in the Trial of the Sekhemas, you must clear the boss of the 4th floor.

I finished Trial of Chaos twice and got the 4 points there. I finished Trial Sekhemas once. Do I still need to do Trial of Chaos?

Where you get the points from doesn't matter. You can either do the 4th floor of Trial of the Sekhemas, or you can fight the Trialmaster past the Trial of Chaos--it requires multiple runs, or trading, to get the keys for the door after the 10th round, though.

Go from the third floor to the fourth floor, and kill the boss of the fourth floor. You will not get more points by stopping at the third floor.
