Floaty explody orbs

Ay just wondering why we have floating explody orbs in every color variation.
there are lava balls following you that explode a few seconds after contact.
and chaos orbs doing the same thing.
and blood orbs..
and electric ghosts that are basically the same.
Am I missing one?
