Various Pain Points

Performance: It's a problem, but perhaps my greatest concern is the inconsistency. Some situations like most Act 1 maps and some other maps perform great even on this Steam Deck. Other can really make things halt. I really think there are optimization isssues with specific tilesets, enemies and special effects.

At the very least, the sections of the game that are going to be seen frequently are the ones that need to be optimized. This means The Ascendancy Trials, The Delirium Effect, The Breach. Hideouts. These are things that are going to be playing constantly on the screen so they should have perfect performance. The Trial of Sekhemas is actually a good model of what the rest should aspire for. All of the Trial of the Sekhemas trial run really smooth.

Waystone Curses I really believe these things got to go. The Waystone modifiers should either buff the player, add challenges to the map or buff the monsters. Nerfing the player through waystone modifiers makes for a terrible experience. I would rather fight fast enemies than be slowed down by temporal chains. I'd rather face tougher enemies than get enfeeble. And the reduced XP gain modifier is basically an insult.

Login screen After booting the game hundreds of times, it starts to get really old that you need to login manually. If the game could just open automatically at character selection, that'd be great. If there are connection issues, you can make it start with server selection, sure.

Baffling Omens Greater Exalation, Greater annulment. Unless you add a specific mention that the mods will actually be better, these omens are actually WORSE than just using two materials. Because when you use two materials, and the first modification comes out wrong, you can just save the other material for another day. Or you can try annulment to get rid of the mod. Doing double exaltation removes these options.

Time Travel Although the time travel aspect of the campaign is nice. The way it limits town portal is really bothersome. It's specially bad when you are at endgame and want to go back to a campaign map in search of a Bind Spectre. Speaking of which

Bind Spectre Effect. This white semi transparent foggy look makes spectres really hard to see. And personally, they are ugly. Beast Taming can somehow work just fine without modifying the look of the monster. If bind spectre just showed the monster in its normal color but with a green life bar, that would be nice.

Lots of people are arguing that negative effects on maps should have inherent boosts to rarity or map density etc. Since waystones are so easy to come by now, there's basically only two scenarios where boosting map drop rate is beneficial.

As for the omen you mentioned--I use the greater exalt all the time on maps, combined with the one that forces exalts to roll prefixes. It saves some currency. But the crafting system as a whole needs some love. Omen-crafting gear is currently non-existent for like 99% of players, making the RMT market all the more lucrative.
