Poe2 can be great, if you pay more attention on community.

I would like to respectfully discuss some aspects that I noticed in the game, after playing more than 1100 hours, I have been playing ARPG since 1993, I have already forgotten how many games, whether on PC or manually, I have played.

I felt that I needed to speak up, especially after I read the notifications for the last patch. I confess, my fun worries me, I am retired, and playing is part of my life... always.

I have fun playing POE2, with Infernalist minion level 96, or with Warbringer level 91 also with Lich level 90, I spent a lot of orbs and time, so far, I am doing well. But the patch notes worry me, because they do not really meet our needs in the game.

You want to add 22 more runes to the game. Look, friends. Nobody is going to use this. Many players still die with 1 hit. The new runes won't solve the toughness problem. What will solve this is a rework of the passives, adding Life/maxlife points. I say this because, in practice, even with 3k life, the character is still very vulnerable. You should decide how you want the character to survive attacks, especially elemental ones. The toons deal a lot of damage and don't survive well. I hardly die with 1 hit, but today, even with 11k es, my infernalist took 1 hit, and what was left was minus 10 life and I didn't die. However, I believe this is the wrong way to create a game mechanism. And I don't even know if you consider this. You must improve toughness, by making all res life evassin and ES solid. realy solid. PoE players do not appriciate glass canons.

Another thing that is really ugly is this craft system. The player needs Alteration Orbs and Scouring to start crafting again, because the system is addicted to rolling items with mana. There are often rings that have a roll with Accuracy and Cast Speed. This is inconsistent. Why does a Pearl Ring roll with Accuracy if it exists for casting? Why do jewels have a roll with 2 different types of weapons? What is the purpose of this?. why rings roll with evassion, but they dont roll with ES?. same to belts. it is a Mana roll all way, on melee itens, evassion itens... this is totaly unpropriate.

i see it .. 100 rings crafted, dosent matter how you start crafting, more than 90 rings roll with mana, this is addiction. i asked for alts and scouring to reroll from zero again, if you wont do this, then add a crafting bench to game. the current system is dysfunctional. the player just waste currency and time in something hopless.

Leveling: it is an experience that is only very unpleasant in POE2. I gave up on leveling up to 97. It is not worth it. Furthermore, the points in my Infernalist's passives are already occupied. You really changed positions in the passives without checking them properly. Essentially, there are tii much points for minion defense. The player has few options to buff the minions in the passives. There are more than TWENTY POINTS that are completely useless for minions in the passive tree.

Essences: why doesn't this game have essences for minions? Specifically for minions. Why does the essence of torment always give a life leech roll when using it?

Attributes: 636 str req to use a level 78 mace... "I won't comment".

Character balance: this doesn't exist.

Loot: why in area level 82 I kept dropping items level 1, 16, 28, 33??? I really don't intend to collect chance shards... please? I'm not thinking about dropping 5 mirrors per map of course, I just ask for coherence and logic.

Armor Life Allre ES and block: either this is bugged, or I wasn't tested improperly, or I don't know, but losing 90% of life with 1 hit... 11k es is a lot, and it's absurd that this is wiped out with one hit. And I'm going to focus a little more on this point.

Is it your attention to punish the player with 1 hit? Or is it your logic? Because there are plenty of punishments in this game, even for using unique items and gems that require a high tax rate to use. If the player reaches a good level, the ideal would be to show that all this is nothing, and he will be wiped out with 1 hit. I believe that if you are able to explain the real purpose of this, it would be nice, so that we can make the necessary changes and have fun.

Finally: the best way to sell is to put yourself in your client's shoes and follow what they think. With technical steps based on calculations and perception, everything should be verified.

Great post. Detailed and well thought out. You'll probably be swarmed by trolls telling you that you have a skill issue, and that's a real shame.
For once i wanna see Devs bring 1% of what you suggest. Actually 1% of Community suggest. But no bro, even this 1% is way to far from Jonathan's vision.
