Cold snap targeting vs contagion targeting.

Cold snap targeting is so bad on consoles/controller it is almost unplayable.

Cold snap will target the nearest enemy, even if it is unfrozen and there is one right beside it that is frozen. This also includes if you have frostbolts that have gone behind them.

Compare this to contagion which targets smartly. If you use Essense Drain first the contagion targets the enemies with the debuff, most of the time as far as I can tell.

This makes ED+contagion a blast to play while frostbolt+cold snap hell. There really needs to be something done to fix this.

Non frozen targets should be illegal and not target for cold snap or at least prefer frozen or frostbolts.

Totally agree with you. Frost bolt/cold snap "combo" need better targeting. It's near unplayable.
