Defenses are just too hard/RNG while reaching 15s is too easy/fast

I think one of the most common complaints here are the fact that one shots exist, this seems to be caused by two issues

A) Its very easy to get to 15s which is where your goal is because lower maps are not as rewarding, meaning it is extremely easy to be casually doing 15s while you havent maxed out defenses leading to one shots.

B) Both evasion and armour rely on health far too much at endgame, you pretty much need to have health in all your items to avoid most one shots for that armor category which adds another layer of defense stats you need to maximize.


So at endgame you need
Health in all items (vital for armour/evasion builds)
Maxed out elemental/chaos resistances
High energy shield for ES builds which is thankfully easier to achieve.
Potential stun threshold for ES builds.


Maxing out those defenses is a CHORE, what is fun in such games is seeing number go up, I want my DPS to increase, those are the upgrades the feel fun.

I think overall defenses need to be easier to acquire so we can get on with focusing on dps increase items.
