This fight is so bugged and so terrible, seriously, I don't understand how you can even put it in the game, even if it's early access. Whoever developed and accepted this fight should not be allowed anywhere near any game development. The cartwheel slam literally teleports your character from almost anywhere in 10 meter radius right next to the boss and the attack itself deals damage anywhere in a massive radius around the boss for no reason. You take damage regardless of where you stand and you get teleported to the boss anyways and then the attack deals 1 million damage as well so yea, it's an automatic one-shot every time no matter what you do, where you stand and even if you dodge it still teleports you and kills you, unless you're a ranged character and stand literally on the other side of the arena as far as possible from the boss.

I have done this fight like 8 times and ever experienced this issue.

I love that fight, she's hot

On a serious note, I've never had that issue with that fight personally but I've definitely gotten pushed/pulled around and rubberbanded by monsters before. So it doesn't surprise me that some would be having a problem like the one you're describing.

Learn to control your space; it's very important in every fight.

When she rolls towards you, roll back instead of rolling to the left or right. However, make sure you have enough space to do so.

Take your time and don't be greedy.

For the record, my build is warrior.
have killed it many times and yes that boss needs to be looked at. You get draged in to the boss, its glitchy and strange.
I don't think she uses rolling slam when you stay in melee range 100% of the time. If you move away she will. And like you said, if you're ranged just stand far away so you have a lot of time to roll.
I've never ran into that, although I believe her rolling slam hitbox needs some tuning.

I think what you are running into may be the edge of the hitbox while you have significant network latency. It acts the same as when you get light stunned or get pushed by a large monster: the server takes your server position (which from your perspective would be a location in the past, due to network latency) and calculates your new location after being pushed, so it feels like you are being teleported to the boss.

The rolling slam has a big hitbox for collision detection, which makes it feel really bad.

And the fact that her encounter has 3 different lingering floor effects all squeezed into that tiny arena makes it feel worse.
