PS5 lag when opening skill panel during map runs

I'm encountering an issue with the skills panel while running maps. It's laggy, jumps around, and becomes very difficult to control, especially when I try to change skill gems during a boss fight. The problem only occurs after I start engaging with enemies in the map. It doesn't happen in the hideout or if I enter the map without killing any mobs.

I think this issue might be caused by the character background behind the skill panel, since the PC version doesn’t have it and doesn’t experience the same lag
