This lag is a little much...

Before we start talking about my laptop, it's and Alienware m16 R2 with an ultra i9 a Niv 4070 and has 64gb crucial ram. It's also pretty bare in the storage department as I don't have much on here taking up space. Also, up until a week ago it was smooth as butter and other than POE this thing runs great. I've tried adjusting settings and blah blah blah.

Any answers to potential reasons for the lag spurts? Constant lag spurts..... even in my hideout, passive tree..... vendors.... and maps, don't get me started. Especially with XP loss... I've been level 82 for far too long at this point. Any feedback would be great! s

I'm having the same issue, the game stutters and jumps like a damn kangaroo. At first, I thought it was my PC, because the in-game graphs showed CPU spikes(R5800x3d so xD), but monitoring tools like HWiNFO didn't confirm any problems. Someone on the forum linked the lag spikes to sending messages in the global chat.

GGG, we're begging you, a huge number of players are dealing with this, and it's seriously ruining the gameplay experience. I've died countless times because of these lags. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, it's making me not want to play anymore.

I've had this exact same.

Second long lag spikes, etc. ... and eventually a disconnect to menu.

I have turned off global messages in the chat window, but I'm going to guess that they're still hitting my PC even if not showing.

same here, HD is 2TB and its all clear, PC is new.

its like the game coughs all the time, get u killed, does not get u killed, even writing text while chatting lags.

also global chat is off and all setting in game are at lowest possible, and resolution is windowed mode 1920*1440, if I cant run a game under this settings it is simply unplayable.
