Choir of storm nerfed?

Did Choir of the Storms get nerfed? Some gems are no longer working, specifically Spell Echo and Controlled Destruction. I don’t see anything about this in the patch notes.

Just read a bug report post. I guess its a bug or wasn't intended...

Yeah those support gems weren't supposed to work with the triggered version of the skill. I just wish they would've made it to where it would scale damage with "triggered spells deal % increased damage" but that might also be intentional because it costs no mana. If that's the case then they should also update the description to be "triggered spells with a cost deal % increased damage"

Imagine how i felt bro, when Devs nerved combination between Herald skills! Now join us to feel our pain. Becouse it is unfair some people drinking coffee while playing and others digging with a hoe while sweat is flowing non-stop.....

It definitely sucks. Builds get bricked because GGG didn't intend to have these gems work as they did. Not just that, it also no longer gains energy on the bolt hits. Im fine with it, but casters in general this season have been very underwhelming and CoC Spark was really the only decent caster build without having to invest a ton of currency. I’m sure this varies from build to build but I spent under 10divs and held my own in juiced t15s and some pinnacle bosses.
