Too much stop and go.
There needs to be a way to chain maps without losing buffs. The entire endgame map system is just wrong. First, it needs to be a static map of wraeclast, this random just sucks. Second, putting maps in every node, creating a map for every single node, empty inventory, fix up towers, stop for ritual spawns, stop for chest spawns, stop for expedition stupidness. Travel up a 3 floor pyramid that lasts like 10 secs per level but if you have to buff every floor it is suck.
Just delete expeditions, the entire concept and execution is wrong. Make creating a map route a thing. Put in one map and go like 5 areas. Make currency automatically go in to a wallet or something. The same currency having to get offloaded each map is dumb. I like tetris inventory don't get me wrong, but for items i need to trash, not for tedium. Would it hurt to make a true atlas. You can put random nodes in it. But, make regions that have like cities to visit or hubs to get to. An objective. The tower concept is fine, but..... If you have to put tablets in a tower then why make me get maps. One or the other. Less is more. And stop making everything in the game have collision. Chest blocks path, table blocks path, cant melee around a corner, cant chain movement melee across bridges or through doors, mobs that havent spawned yet have collision, little pebble has collision, the twig sticking up in the forest has collision, every expedition chest that spawns has collision.
