The power consumption of the game during operation is extremely high.
Even when the frame rate is limited to 60 and all settings are turned to the lowest, the power consumption remains high. I wonder when the official will start to optimize the game performance?

" They won't do it. They don't care about performance. They already sold over 1M keys so now they are just chilling spending the money. The game is unplayable for me with a decent/high end PC (3080+5900X) and I can't play due to the game consecutive crashing my entire PC. Yet there are people defending the game saying it is my fault, even tho all my other games work perfectly. |

Hate to say it , but the previous poster is right. Game runs fine on my system, BUT... across many other rigs tested, performs about on par with how POE1 used to perform before we all got way overpowered hardware compared to the games supposed 'reqs'.
It has terrible (if any) optimizations in place. Yea, GGG aint fixin it. It's one of the reasons i am exiting the 'spenders club', and offering GGG zero more support for their shenannigans, amongst others. GGG - Why you no?

seems like zero optimization, memory leaks, and a bunch of stuff stitched together, in its current state. probably hard to work on optimization when so many elements of the game are in a state of flux. hopefully gets fixed down the road. i dont really get why its so much more demanding than POE1 if it is built on the same system, or why there is no option to downgrade the graphics to a much lower level for people on POE1tato computers

" When the test was just launched at the end of December last year, I clearly remember that the power of the game was not as high as it is now (only the frame rate needed to be limited to 60), and the overall experience was comfortable and quiet. Then I didn't play it for a few months. Recently, I recalled this game, but I found that its performance has actually regressed. The power of the GPU and CPU is particularly high. No matter how I adjust the Settings, I can't return to the previous "quiet mode". What exactly happened during this period? By the way, I use a laptop. When I play games, I try my best to pursue low power consumption operation (the acceptable minimum game frame rate is 60). |

i believe there is currently a memory leak, something to do with the chat box. If you type /clear in your chat it should temporarily alleviate this.
