New curse mechanic in Maps is very distracting - wrong solution

I'm not a fan of the change to curses in endgame maps.

The curse ground effect is super distracting. It is already difficult enough to read the screen in endgame, this makes it even harder.

Like I'm running a map that has witches that also cast a similar looking ground effect, except it's smaller. Super confusing.

I appreciate that you try to improve how curses are applied, but this isn't a good solution. For me, it's kinda worse than before, because even for curses which I can deal with such as Elemental Weakness, I now have a constantly distracting ground effect making it harder to avoid other threats.

I agree. The constant ground casting needs to go. Supplimental swap gear already exists to deal with the old, perpetual curses. Expanding that design space should be prioritized over needless terrain clutter.
