The new Curse map mods are too OP and annoying

1. They spawn too fast- Many times if it spawns on top of you there is just no counterplay, as you don't have enough mobility options to dodge it
2. The curses themselves apply too much of a penalty, making us just avoid maps even more than before
3. You cannot avoid them when you are surrounded by monsters or in tight spaces such as ritual
4. They are hard to see when there is a lot of visual clutter in maps, the last thing we needed in maps is more ground effects
5. Temporal chains- This just feels like we are being trolled, there is no way we can play the game when we get it, and it also makes it harder to dodge subsequent curses(never running that again)

There was a back and forth in another thread where I recommended creating a set of loadout gear that mitigated the curse with the new socketable that does that, and a poster got upset with me and said he could do maps in 2 minutes, and the curse added another 30 seconds per map, so he wasn't going to take the time to regear.

Anyway, not your fault, but it's hard for me to take this topic seriously now. There's a straightforward fix, and people would rather complain than fix their builds.

You speak as if having several full gear loadouts is something trivial in poe2, where you don't even have Harvest crafting and benchcrafting. (For poe2-only players, in poe1 you could deterministically reroll existing elemental resistance modifier to another element). Even swapping 1 item in poe2 usually breaks your resistances, and you have to chain swap other items too. This is so much hassle that I am 99% sure people will prefer to reroll crappy maps instead.

So unfortunately your suggestion isn't a universal fix.
As a side note, yes, Harvest is still the best form of crafting ever was, even after GGG hammered it like 20 times (literally). GGG hates that players still like it even in its nerfed state, and I enjoyed using Harvest instead of their "intended" ways:)
