Steam Deck / GeForce Now / Strange chat/whisper interaction

Hi,

So I'm not exactly sure where to start with this one... I've been playing POE2 quite happy via GeForce Now on my Steam Deck. I guess that's the equivalent of on PC with a controller.

The issue I have, and not sure this is considered a bug or just an odd interaction due to the setup but I can't seem to use chat or whisper properly.

What I mean is, when I use the command to open general chat, they kepboard interface pops up, but when I'm typing, the interaction with the general game continues. So like I'll be trying to type, and bits of gear are getting taken off, chat channels are toggling on/off, randomly inviting people to party. It's annoying.

Last night was a really good one though, I had 7 divines in my local inventory to discuss a trade with a guy via whisper. As I was trying to write the message, game deleted my 7 div lol, just tossed them into the void...gone. As you can imagine, loosing literally all my currency was pretty demoralising.

Anyhow, just thought I'd share.

Just to add to this, the only way I've managed to work around this issue is to use the touch screen when using the keyboard interface. If I don't, the controls continue to interact with the game 'behind' the keyboard pop up, which is always a lottery as to what will happen.

I guess this is likely a Steam Deck issue, but be interested if anyone on PC using a controller has the same problem.

On my xbox series x no issues but...yea.. potato frame rate.
