MOB Density in Maps - IMPORTANT - Why is it so UNEQUAL ?

Sometimes maps are great, filled with mobs and I have fun and feel I can XP properly. Some others, I have to look for mobs and that feels WRONG. It's IRRITATING and it kills the fun for me and I feel like losing my time cause I won't get any EXP.

the EXP per hour can TRIPLE if a map is well crowded.

Such GAP is unacceptable at high level maps. Of course I'm comparing white maps together. Sometime a good white map has much more density than a bad map with number of monster pack and pack size.

All maps T14 - 15 should have a strong mob density and even if it's not exactly the same from map to map, the gap shouldn't be so huge.

Guys, this is not the campaign anymore, high level grind is blowing up MASS MONSTERS.

I'm surprised that the new maps, having a good design that said, have so far for me, such low density.

IT'S A VERY IMPORTANT aspect of the game, so please have a look into this.

There were a few times I've entered a white map just to get to a tower that I noticed the number of rare monsters felt no different than on maps with extras, and vice versa. I decided a while back that unless I'm targeting ritual, I'm not touching IRM anymore. Better to increase rarity and quantity and leave "finding more rare monsters" to just running more maps.

It sounds like you're more concerned with EXP gain. It's tangentially related. All I can say is that I agree; it feels like there is a wide enough range for each map regarding how many mobs/rares will spawn, that a low roll with +IRM will be the same as a high roll without any IRM.
In 0.1 the maps were too sparsely populated and always felt instantly much better with high mob desity. In 0.2. things got out of control. Density got considerably higher which should feel good but mobs now nonstop aggro from offscreen and running at player in lightning speed which makes for very stressful gameplay loop, especially earlier in the game. So simply increasing mob density again will not be the solution if the game gets made worse by it in other aspects.
Yeah not saying the maps should be unplayable but there is definitely a massive problem right now. Some maps I walk 30 secs - find a pack of 6 mobs - walk 20 sec and so on. I spend more time walking than killing mobs.

If they would be clever, they would introduce mob density juicing.

- Get lot of mob density, and you can use your AOE build to bang screen after screen just like you did 10 years in PoE1.

- Put minimum density, and you're getting harder but way less white mobs and you're mostly just hunting rares.

Then normalize the loot between those so both are viable. This way people could actually choose whether they play AOE or more single target build.

The ONLY reason it is like this, is RNG.
EVERYTHING in this "game" is based upon RNG.

Maps RNG.
Mobs RNG.
Loot RNG.
Carfting RNG.
Trading is RNG, cause 95% of the MF won´t reply.

Hell even Unique items have RNG stats.
Even if you get lucky and find that one "OP" item, you have to get "LUCKY" again, and hope it has a good roll on the stats that make it "OP"

Just a other way of not respecting the players time.
Yeah, it will always be RNG but the gap between some maps is just to big.

Feels wrong.

At least they should put a minimal amount of monsters in order for it to feel end game.

Maybe a progressive density the more high level a map is. Like t1 maps would be low density and t14-15-16 would all have high monster density.
