Refiner's Bargain does not seem to generate ore from Guarded Hoards's sulphite golems

When using both Refiner's Bargain and Guarded Hoards, the 'sulphite-hoarding monsters' that spawn next to a voltaxic sulphite vein give sulphite instead of ore. The wording on Refiner's Bargain 'Sulphite found in your Maps is instead granted as a random ore...' seems to indicate this should not be the case.
