This game is far from being fun

This game is in a horrible state, and it will get worse because GGG don't understand that the only players that want ''meaningful combat and decisions'' are the full time streamers or the no-job-life people out there.

I play this game and I can legit spend weeks without a meaningful item dropping. There is no way to get real crafting, this is a terrible casino-like experience. And let's not forget that it is mandatory to play the meta-bugged build after every update because you want the good items to be dropping only when the maps are juiced to a 1-shot level. But even then, not happening.

People spend more time looking for currency to buy items, paying for carries, and watching videos about ''the best method to farm maps'', or even better: ''get x6 divines each hour with this method'' than actually playing the game.
This game has more tutorials about how to get currency than about the game mechanics or builds.

Everything you were saying about the game in the previous years was a lie. The game is in early access and it is already full of things that players want to avoid at all cost, like farming boring maps without the needed affixes or having to look for towers to juice currency drops.ç

You have the best looking ARPG game in the market, and decided to make it the worst experience for the players.

I fall into the category of players you mentioned. Im glad that this game demands a huge time investment. Plenty of other players are too. There plenty of games out there. This one caters to a niche where players gladly are willing to spent time and money to.

The game is not yet well balanced, this is true. But you do not have to play meta at all. There are plenty of possibilities and builds out there that are capable of runnning 150% delirious maps i for myself habe around 8 chars that ate able of this. And there is plenty more i can think of. But you need to be willing to spend hours and hours of theroycrafting, trying out, fail, try again, invest, fail and so on.

As for crafting, its not accessible to 95% of the playerbase. Its simply to expensive. But its by no means a casino. If you plan, do the math, are aware of your probabilities and exitstrategies you can earn thousands of divines. But again, you need to learn, practice and plan. Also you probably need a phd in math. But this again caters to a niche. The entry cost is very high, and there is little to no room for failed strategies unless you are severly lucky, that should change imho im the future.
Spend less time theorycrafting/grinding and more time working on your spelling and grammar, bruh. ;)

Also +1 to "game bad". I sunk 900 hours into it so i for sure got what I paid for but I realized how bad things were at the start of "Dawn of the Hunt" and noped the frick out!

Yes, some good points there. The meta pressure is annoying. I never dropped anything interesting. And yes, this game requires tutorials about map juicing. Also true that it is the best looking ARPG.

There aren't a lot of players willing to spend ''that much time'' in this game (or any other), it is just that people on the internet claim they do or you might be reading the same people without realizing. Nobody wants to spend 300 hours of gambling hoping to be powerful before running out of currency.

The game isn't balanced, it is early access, sure, but their vision is clearly aiming to those players. People say a lot of bad things about Diablo 4, but people are still playing it because it is simple enough for the audience to play the game and not ''theorycraft'' for more hours than they spend playing, AND the game is good enough for everyone because you can get all of the items in Torment 1, so by simply playing the game you will end up getting the Mythics and items you need to go all the way up to Torment 4 without a guide.

Don't say ''crafting''. PoE2 doesn't have such thing. You just spam currency on items hoping to get the affix you need in the Tier you need by being lucky enough.

GGG should look for a different person to be in front of the project. Jonathan is clearly aiming for a game that will not be fun for most of the players.
The worst part is that ARPG's should be about loot. But this one is "get the most divines per hour to buy items coming from botters".

Like it's specifically tailored for RMT bot farms.

I dunno, more and more i see people with no job, no hobbies and no desire in learning applicable real-world skills that would rather have their self-worth based on pseudo-economics in online games.

Sucks that it's the ideal client, i guess.
