They've been waiting for this post, obviously. How else would they know what to work on?

It legit ruins my enjoyment of this game. The absolutely worst thing about this game is the perpetually unhappy, and whiny community.

Game's fun. For the most part, I don't even read people complaining anymore.

But, the servers part is true as well, I can't play since yesterday.

This. In the interview, Jonathan clearly laid out the timeline for updates on both games going forward. 4 month league cycles for each game. POE1 just started a new league. POE2 will receive the 0.3 update in August.

Not even july, and the season is already dead. It is a big mistake to work in both games. They should let PoE 1 die already and focus in the game that will be their future income source. They aren't doing any good to PoE2 and they are also taking really bad decisions in the development of the game. They should start taking seriously the PoE2 dev or they will just be erased by any competitor that comes to the ARPG scene with a decent/fresh game.

calling the league "dead" in under a month is just drama queen nonsense. PoE1 still has a massive playerbase that's literally funding PoE2's development - you don't just kill your cash cow because the shiny new thing exists.
GGG has been pretty transparent about the 4-month cycle thing, and honestly? Having both games means they can experiment with PoE2 without completely screwing over the people who've been supporting them for over a decade. The "erased by competitors" fear-mongering is getting old too - we've heard this same song every time a new ARPG launches.
They're doing fine managing both. Maybe give them more than 3 weeks before declaring the sky is falling?
