Logging in to Australia realm lands me in Singapore or Texas realm

I was noticing some unusually high latency and latency spiking while moving this morning.

I hit tab to see what was up as my ping from hitting F1 was showing unusual numbers from when someone else in my house might be using the internet in an abnormal way. I noticed first i was in a freythorn instance leveling an alt char and connected to a Texas realm. As unusual as this was i decided to exit to login and login again via australia server. Might be worth noting that i've never changed the region login destination as I've always logged in via the australia servers. That didnt work, still in texas, so i TP back to clearfell and for some reason im now in Singapore and have worse lag. So i exit out, completely close the game. Re-open login via australia realm and still in singapore.

Im going to go play another game and maybe check in later if its fixed itself. I thought it was worth alerting people of the problem as i have high hopes for poe2 and want it to succeed. Hopefully this is just a bug and will resolve itself once the instances ive created go inactive or something idk what the issue is.
