New Content Release Schedule - problematic

For all the Players that PoE2 is their first Path of Exile game, the new content release schedule is killing the game for those. Poe2 being early access is clearly lacking a lot of content, however PoE1 is not lacking content. To put them on the same schedule is in my opinion a huge misjudgement of potential consequences for the new Game.

PoE2 does not have enough content to keep new players or old players engaged until the new patch comes out. PoE1 already has so much content that it should not be on the same schedule as PoE2. PoE2 should have minimum twice as frequent content updates vs Poe1. Most I know have already quit due to this. The servers are dead due to this and most I know have lost confidence that the game will make it out of early access.

Providing any content update to poe1 is more than any other dev company would do when releasing their new game, but really a 4 month schedule? When the new game is also on a 4 month schedule due to this, is going to ultimately harm the overall success of poe2 which is a shame as it's such an amazing game. In my opinion poe1 should have a yearly big content update if anything, but new leagues without additional content quarterly. Poe2 should be at max on a 2 month content update cycle until it's fully released. Putting a early access title on a equal timeline for content updates as a already build out over a decade long game is quite ridiculous in my opinion.

I don't need that much content as in POE-1. GGG should learn how to apply this formula "LESS IS MORE" instead of overbloating the game with all kinds of boring sht.

I am not saying it needs to be, as I agree with in some cases less is more. However I am talking about core content, like campaign, we have only 3 acts and then it repeats on cruel, which gets repetitive. We have 7 out of 12 classes. Heck we are missing entire weapons categories that are present on passive tree..sword, axe, daggers, traps.

We are missing 2 of the end game modes besides chaos trial and sekhemas trial.

That's the point of my post, is that they are treating a game that has all classes, all campaign acts, all weapon types on the same content update schedule as a game that is missing about half of each of those core categories.

They'll add acts soon, no problem in that.

As for classes - these don't mean a lot in POE. Unfortunately. This is where Diablo (all games in the series) made it correct - each class is distinct with a specific set of skills.

As for weapons, again, unfortunately, it all ends in the same 1-shot-aoe-zoom-zoom poe gameplay. Doesn't matter if you a fireball caster or a 2-hand-wep weilder - gameplay is the same in the end. This is the real problem and not the lack of more weapons.

Exactly, and there for has much more content etc. So why have it run on a parallel content update schedule? I don't understand tbh
To say Classes don't matter in POE2 is just straight convuluted, They don't feel like Diablo 2 because you can use any weapon/gear, any skill gem, on any class, given the proper stats, WHICH IS AWESOME, but also kind of defeats the point of classes and different gear/stat reqs etc, What makes classes matter are the ASCENDANCIES, Thats why you choose the class you do, It doesn't feel conventional and took me 500 hours to realize oh any class can use any weapon... whats the point to classes? Oh yea the ascendancy, Its just not the conventional design we are use to, BUT ALLOWS FOR SO MUCH MORE BUILD VARIETY, Like a Witch using the Lich ascendancy using a 2 handed hammer and leap slam with mjolnir? Thats thinking OUTSIDE THE CONVENTIONAL BOX... But also something the AVERAGE GAMER WOULDNT EVEN THINK TO DO, BECAUSE ITS NOT CONVENTIONAL, TO SAY CLASSES DON'T MATTER IS JUST WRONG, CLASSES AREN'T CONVENTIONAL...
To excel in this game is just not conventional for the average gamer, Like i havent found an official guide, official wiki idk how they program stuff what exact stats do the game doesn't explain this, it needs a clear and consense guide to even be able to take full advantage of game mechs and builds, and the state its in rn just doesn't feel fun, There are clear better builds that topple every other and makes all the other ascendancies and classes just feel pointless, game needs major balancing but with the system they've created, I WOULDN'T EVEN KNOW WHERE TO START, And am actually starting to regret buying supporter packs, I dont think this game is going to last past early access as whole community is divided on every little aspect of the game and what needs and doesn't need fixing, everyone seems to agree yet disagree, think they've dug their own grave with this one and am honestly giving up this season, Cant even finish a damn simulcrum its so frustratig but T3 xesht is no problem for me, Just get so angry at the fact I can't do a piece of content in this game I otherwise should have no problem with, it has turned me away...
4 months is quite enough. Did you delete the entire game on HC SSF? Did you play all builds possible, or you cheezed on SC trade and done with everything in 2 days, did not even get to lvl 90? LOL
HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
