Why do ARPG devs love foprcing group play on us

Inb4 nobody is "forcing you". This is a huge point of contention and I will just agree to disagree. Not looking to argue that.

I would simply ike to understand: Why? At the very least, wouldn't it make sense to equalize the loot & reward gap between solo & group play. Why are the benefits of grouping disproportionately so much better than solo play? Are the devs trying to communicate that they don't want me to play solo? Are they trying to discourage solo play all together?

People go into dungeons with multipole rarity bots, aura bots, banner bots because and are making 10,20-30x more currency than people that spend 8+ hours farming their quant maps.

A role is better defined in how that role interacts with other roles.

Even single player RPGs tend to be based around you controlling a whole party rather than a single character.

There are exceptions, of course.
