Equipped items vanish randomly upon entering a map

I am wearing my body armor, i enter into a map. The body armor disappears, along with my heralds which it is supply me with.
amazing.
I guess the lesson to learn here: don't equip things that you don't want to lose.

Update, it happened again, same body armor -- The Coming Calamity. From what i can tell, it seems the game is removing the item due to ... perhaps too many gained skills? I have into the breach, purity of fire, Coming Calamity (had, taken 2x now..), and chaos infusion. Which comes out to 6 bonus skills, so my character seemingly just loses whatever is giving the most extra skills. Would be nice to have this fixed so i don't have to keep buying new coming calamity's since they cost a fair amount when looking for level 19 heralds. First reported this over a week ago, and the last patch wasn't even targeting fixing bugs. Last bug fix patch was over a month ago.

I understand only pushing major updates once every 4 months, but this game IS in early development, and is not a full game.. Which should likely mean there's active development, no? If it's not being actively developed then is it just a failed early release game? If you claim early development then develop the game, as you charge people for it.

In my opinion, PoE2 is a cash cow made to fund the development of PoE1, which hasn't seen an increase in player count for years. It follows a trend, and every few months is back down to 6k active players around the clock. So what do you do? Make a *new* game release, except it's just the same game, with better graphics. Bonus points because you get to slowly release everything that has been released in PoE1 on a slow roll, further milking the cow. I wouldn't be surprised if the game never sees a *full release* because that would mean time wasted, since people will pay money for a broken game anyways.

How long is Early Access likely to run for?

I doubt this new league is even going to be calling itself full release. I also doubt that this new league will bring much active development in terms of bug fixes. I imagine most of the people working on this game are burnt out beyond belief and can't give it the same amount of effort forever. This game feels like it's 75% smoke and mirrors, and i wouldn't doubt or be surprised if it is. There's many signs of it, can't really be bothered to go into details since this post will likely not even be read as it stands. Just feels like there is mad disrespect to anyone who support[s/ed] this game. Can't say i really respect this game anymore, cause it doesn't seem to respect the players in the slightest.
