End of my season 2, what was yours?

Ive leveld 3 characters to 90+ with about 300 hours in the season.
A warrior kitava an amazon lightnening spear spam and a merc jemling.

I dont use the trade but me and the bros share loot through our guild. Oone ofnthem has about 500nhrs this season so we've seen a lot of drops.but no adtriminicus, still think that one thats near impossible, destroyed abut thirty neclaces with chance orbs so, thats all rng.

For the good, they've rebalanced a lot and it feels like currency is in a good place.
And the story progress balance is nice. Leveling is currently the best part of the game to me.

Its a good game, solid game play lots of options and a very narrow meta at the end.


Uniques are still the opposite of dopamine but the hallow mask probabaly give the best physical DR in the game so thats a nice one. And the new amazon spear that does chaos dmg is pretty fun.
But for the most part the others are meh at higher levels.
I used 3 uniques, the robe of flame hallow mask and fire belt on my warrior.
Got his DR to everything to 90% , except chaos but thats a whole other bag of cats.
But still felt squishy with 3k hp and a big shield. Dmg way way to slow to handle end game events like breach, tried using shild clangging armor brack and super sundering but its just way too slow and felt terrible. Might try it again and go giants on a later season.
But other wise its a ded character, sword and board need an over haul to be viable at end game especailly in multi player.

One skill i really liked is temper weapon.
Its pretty op, being able to give cull to everything is nice but the charge up is too slow and you cant quality it up to get the extra 20%
Personally id like a gem that gives each smack and extra tick, dropping your hammering time from 4 to 3 for max stack.

But as far as im concered the class isnt currently viable at end game.


Spam-azon speaks for its self , insane lightening spear chaining and 5+ atks a second with the poke poke is really nice. Got her to nearly 4k hp, with 60-75%% resist and 40% on chaos. Still got 1 shot by b.s. so thats a thing and the dmg is meh unless u get super specific gear past 90.
In every other situation its the group carry.


Merc was fun but demoralizing, even with gemling. Whoch feels very strong until i tried multi player, the low dmg in galvanic shots just coupdnt keep up, kinda wish id have gone with the turret one, might try that later.
I am aware the strongest meta rt now is L spear on a gemling but meh at that.

Merc Class is probabpy the most fun i had leveling and once u get artilary turret its just fun to blow up the world w oil grenades.
I had even jsut got a nice new cross bow, 100 - 300 ish dmg, 109% bonus to elemental q +4 skills and some stats, its really nice uped my dps a lot.
Then tried multi player and got wrecked.

Very demoralizing.

End game events are ok, i like fighting the swarm of enamies even though i reached a point where i left 90% of loot on the ground. Wasnt worth the time to vendor the garbage.

Except deliruim, i quit mirror all togeather cause they suck. Not for being difficult but because of the drops.
They only drop ire , and even at higher lvls thats basically all u get.
Not even bosses drop the higher tier emotions lwhich would make sense if it were low level. Bblut in a lvl 6 delirium on a t16 way stone where i killed delierum boss. And he drops crap? That just sicks l, your better off gassing a wae stone and collecting splinyers that way, but its just so freaking much rng on top of the rest of the rng it becomes tedious.
Then you Still just get ire.

Feels real bad.

Multi player is where i thoguht the game would shine but really is where it falls apart the most. Battles we can win solo, become much more difficut when paying with friends.
The resistances and hp pool of bosses and certain elites make silver fist look like a baby. We had one where the wall boss just couldnt die, 2 90+ spamazons blasting him for like 6 min but the damn thing just refused and wore us down till we ran out of lives.
I feel like its somthing that should be addressed but also get the impression the devs all play solo, so i doubt it will.

I dont have a lot of hope in the multi player aspect of the game but silo os pretty good.


Tha atlas, i really like it the whole cocnept is neat and i like the idea of endless maps to blast through.
Citidals still dont spawn togeather for me though so notnsure whats up with that. Managed tonfind 2 since that patxh but got the same stone twice and no extea citidels. Arberter has to much one shottery, watched videos have the stats just cant beat him. Takes too long to try again. Agree or not, whole fight feels terirble.

Runes old and new.
Not much changed hwre, theres one new wep rune that adds 6% of dmg for each element which is op and if u have the resistance you can now put move speed on your boots.
But i've not seen it drop.

Was really nice having extra exposure form a helm rune while leveling though. Tried that and tried useing 2 extra 40% chos dmg rings while leveling with a bunch of other uniques on my gemling while leveling.
Was neat but not viable at end game
Runes all went back to 40 hps or resistance, the dmg rune fornweapins was my bros so ingot to ser thats effective ness but never got one my self to try.

The new chase items all felt pretty meh.

Boots should have implicit move speed.
I dodnt even pick up boots without move speed, it plays to much of a role in how the game feels and have anything lower than 25% feels bad.

Pretty sure our basic walk speed is about 20% slower than d4 or the other Arpg thats so pipular.

Boots without move speed belong on the ground and are just wasting our rng arbitrarily.
Boots without move speed dont respect your time and leave your messages on read.

Infirmly belive at certain threaholds the move speed on boots should just start showing up, some people disagree but ive finished 4 maps to their one.
So they have to disagree slowly and ive met very few arpg player that patient without a little chemical assistance.


All things considered i had a good time and will probably play future seasons since its going to be like a new game each time the over haul the skill and balance.

Thats my expirience, what was yours, did you have fun and do you feel your time was respected?

Probably noy if you didnt have good move speed boots but i digress.

HC SSF. What else? Ruthless when?
I stopped a few weeks ago. Ran out of stuff to do. Only played Amazon/Ritualist this update.

They need to probably remove tangletongue or nerf it into the ground.

I hope next update they add more content. The stuff Jonathan mentioned about there being multiple breach bosses sounded cool. The fact that everyone is just herald spamming for trash clearing is dumb. One shotting bosses is dumb. They also need to crack down on RMT. Maybe when they spin up the Chinese servers it will be less of an issue.

They also need to rework Trial of Chaos. It's boring as hell and needs to be farmed to get certain items.

Lastly, drops/rarity needs to be tied to map difficulty. Or something like that. There's only one reason right now to actually make maps more difficult. The amount of time spent crafting maps, trading for tablets, scouting towers is dumb.
I haven't enjoyed this season at all,6.5k active players a couple days ago shows i'm not the only one. The nerves from 0.2 to most classes just killed the game for me. I had about 700 hours in the game before season of the hunt, now i hardly ever play and not even 1 out of 15 people in my friends list is playing anymore. Game feels to slow and extremely unrewarding. The new chase uniques never dropped for me either. The ritual purple omens suddenly didn't show anymore after last patch. All in all a really bad experience. Guess it's what it is, i hope things change for the better of what makes the players happy and not 1 dev, without players there's no money , hope they understand that now.
I hope they start to make more sweeping changes. Poe1 sometimes felt more dynamic because they threw things at it to see what sticks and what doesnt work. Not much going on in poe2. In early access I would be fine with shorter leagues if it allows them to really try things out. Not sure what they expect to find with months between leagues and patches.

After unlocking all the hideouts and trying to get the 4th ascendancy is when I stopped. I can farm t15s without the extra points anyway. I never thought they would make it worse than lab. Alone the idea of bringing lab back would make the game more enjoyable for me.
