A new player to EA.
I just started playing POE2 in the last couple of weeks. I have got about 60 hours and I have made a Ranger and a warrior. Levels 47 ranger and 42 Warrior. I noticed I get heavy armor and melee weapons to drop on my Ranger so I made a warrior to use them, and when I started playing my warrior I got bows, quivers, and lots of evasion gear. My first 3 yellows on my warrior were 2 quivers and a bow.
Starting out without anything it takes way TOO long to start acquiring orbs of augmentation and orbs of transmutation. They game throws so much white loot at you and gives us almost nothing to upgrade it. Early game balance needs to be looked at with an eye to get new players started out having fun and feeling a good sense of progression. Early game with no currency is NOT fun. It is slow, it is arduous to find gear and the pace of play is too slow. Movement in general feels floaty or like you are gliding and can't come to a complete stop while shooting in place. (On M+K) These all feel like GIANT steps backwards from POE 1. I am over 50, played games since I had my Atari 2600 and Commodore 64. Games are supposed to be FUN. Gaming has turned into busy work. The balance has to be found to make early game focused on fun to get players hooked and deliver difficulty and grind in later game for people who want to challenge their builds. Also I like that the hooded one can ID items for you, but all towns and early encampments needs vendors, and salvage bench and the Hooded One to be closer together so we don't have to waste so much time running back and forth every time we come to town to break, sell, and craft. If this can't be changed then give us earlier access to our hideouts so we can place things where we like them. 最後にスレッドがバンプされた時間 時刻 2025/07/22 7:35:30
