Bugged Abyss in Mausoleum of Praetor (Unable to complete)

I could not complete the following double chest abyss encounter in the Mausoleum of Praetor. I first entered this zone, went back to his wife's area and killed his wife and then returned here to finish this map.

I am killing monsters almost as soon as they come out using ED Contagion perhaps that's related!

I had the exact same bug in the exact same zone! I even brought other monsters nearby yet the second abyss entrance/mouth/thing could not be triggered.

My guess would be an issue of superposition. Maybe monsters from mouth 1 are fed to mouth 2 when they shouldn't if they are close enough; or maybe not enough monsters that spawn due to the superposition. In any case, same bug in the same location.

Yeah that's a possibility too. Btw you can't drag monsters into Abyss stuff the devs said that encourages a degenerate playstyle. Some nearby non abyss monsters are always assigned an abyss as far as I know.
