Can't Tame a Elephant Tortoise

Twice now i've tried to tame a rare Elephant Tortoise and it just died both times. I've been casting tame beast on it and killing it right after and it just dies.

Im using a level 10 gem. Or does gem levels matter when taming a beast?

Tame Beast can only catch RARE monsters with the beast tag.

That aside, I have tried multiple times to tame a tortoise elephant in one of the mini acts, but was unsuccessful every time.

It is either a bug or they are not meant to be captured. I hope it is the former.

Also not been able to capture Elephant Tortoise. It feels like a definite bug and I hope it gets fixed
