Infinite spawning in Simulacrum

So i decided to try the first stage in Simulacrum, and I'm not strong enough yet, ended up dying alot.
But what I realized after a while, I had infinite tries?
I got swarmed by the checkpoint where i kept spawning, could kill of one or two mobs, died and repeat to infinity. Ended up managing the whole run, probably died 50 times?
