Acolyte of chayula - Sap of Nightmares bug???

Hello, I have a problem about "Sap of Nightmares".

It said "Leech recovers based on "Chaos Damage" as well as Physical Damage.

Mana leech from Chaos Attack is correct, but Life leech is not.
It doestn't show Life leech from Chaos Attack and I try to test with attack from this but didn't drain life with chaos damage.



From the picture I use Essntia Sanguis. Yes, it doesn't show Ebergy Shild Leech from Chaos Damage.

Is it a bug?

Do you leech life if you don´t use your Essentia Sanguis?

I also tried SAP of Nightmares to leech with the Volatility and/or purple flame buff but i saw no energy shield leech and i use also Essentia Sanguis.

Yep, this is bugged for me as well. I thought I was doing something wrong because I was following a build guide, but now I guess I can't play my monk until it's fixed.

Can we get a Dev or Support member to acknowledge this, I'm noticing the same thing, had to come to the forums to see if it was just me.

I have a similar bug. I'm running essentia sanguis and an original sin. My tool tip shows mana and energy shield leech from physical attacks only. Nothing about Chaos damage. Running through maps and I'm constantly out of mana as if i'm not leeching anything at all, or if anything im only leeching the physical portion of my damage.

Funny interaction, running herald of ice with mana leech and life leech support gems actually do leech and quite a lot at that (got 7.5-6 leech for both mana and life and no additional leech gains except for the ascendancy node for leech). However, storm wave does indeed not leech much to almost nothing. (Using original sin, so herald is pure chaos, while storm wave has a bit of physical 24-41).

I have a feeling if the skill has any physical dmg, it will use that portion instead of the chaos damage.

Hopefully GGG catches this and fixes it in a patch soon

Same issue for me, the chaos leech is applied to mana leech, but not to life leech (or ES leech with Essentia Sanguis)

I don't think GGG will catch this until 0.4
