Vessel of Kulemak - Stuck in map lost all items

Was just playing black cathedral. I beat all phases including his final. When the final phase spawned and the map erupted/changed. I got completely locked in the fissure that opens. Killed the boss, all items sitting there. Can't move at all. Tried everything. Finally respawned at checkpoint, all items gone.......... Complete waste of time, items, currency. Ridiculous
